Hello, dual winding motors allow high power and torque at acceptably volumina of the motor. At parallel switchedinverters with two winded motors no common output reactor is needed. The motor can run with half power, if the other winding, or one inverter is defective. Phase shifted windings are comming from the history, with the e.g. Simovert A frequency converter which made current blocks. The phase shift reduced the torque cogging. Som information is found under https://www.automation.siemens.com/mcms/infocenter/dokumentencenter/ld/Documentsu20Catalogs/lv-umrichter/sinamics-engineering-manual-lv-en.pdfin section 5.9. |
