Error 80B1 from SFC14/15

DDK Posts: 2 Rating: (0)	Hi, I'm using SFC14/15 to read/write consistent data over Profibus to a Danfoss frequency drive (VLT 6000 HVAC). I configured the drive in my STEP7 hardware configuration with PPO6 word consistency (= length 4 WORD). I read the data from the drive via SFC14 and store it in a STRUCT with a length of 4 WORD, and I write data from a STRUCT of 4 WORD to the drive with SFC15. So everything has the same size, still SFC14 and 15 keeps returning error 80B1 ("The length of the specified destination area is not identical to the user data length configured with STEP 7"). What am I doing wrong? Before using PPO6 the program was working fine with PPO3 and STRUCTS of length2 WORD. After changing PPO and STRUCT I get the error. Strangely when I keep using PPO6 but with a STRUCT of length 2 WORD the error is gone??? DDK Posts: 2 Rating: (0)	My CPU is a 315-2 DP and I use STEP7 5.5 SP4. I have been reading the FAQ but I can not find a cause for my problem. Hello, Just to provide another suggestsion to test,If you are developing your codes in OBs or any functions (blocks), simply define an ANY parameter in temp area and fill the data based on the structure explained in STEP 7 online manual.Declare the ANY parameter as IN/OUT parameters for SFC15/SFC14.I think this is less ambigous for the controller. IF U ANE NOT RECEVING ANY DATA THEN CHECK (SFC14/15)...IF NOT THEN CHECK FROM CLIENT SIDE DATA SEND & GSDS FILES CONFIGURED ...................... ...TO SOLVE O ISSUE

Oskrly Regular Member Joined: 2/2/2016 Last visit: 5/25/2023 Posts: 1 Rating: (0)	Just in case anyone stumbles over the same problem that I just had and finds this threat here: SFC14/15 throws error 80B1 if the module consistency is just "Unit" - it must be consistent over the complete module (see attached screenshot and check DP ID, should be 4AX instead of 115) After i changed the module and re-uploaded HW-Config it worked just fine.
