Error when using PAC Library v1.5 with Step 7 Basic 10.5 and PLC 1214C with firmware 2.0.3

Bert-Ola Posts: 1 Rating: (0)	Hello, I get theErrorCode: 0xc037ab0004d5ff02 when downloading software to the PLC and using the latest PAC Library v1.5 for Step 7 Basic 10.5 and PLC 1214C with firmware 2.0.3. It seams like the new PAC library 1.5 for Step 7 Basic 10.5 do not work, what can I do? Best regards Bert

If you have a V10.5 project that will not run on V2.0.3 then please post it so that we can look at it. Thanks I agree with you. This would completely destroy my kind of view, if it is possible to download projects with version v10.5 into PLC's with firmware 2.0.x. Aren't there some changed functions in new FW, e.g. T_CON blocks? How should it be possible to get these running with old software? I thought with v11 it is down-compatible, but not up-compatible with v10.5? Please clear up this problem. I'm also interested in learning new things

As you read before, I wrote that in same time I download program based on Modbus TCP with PAC3200 and one standard program. The first not work but the second work properly. In meanwhile, I used new library (version 1.5) and it the same: PLC is still in stop mode. I can download hardware but when I tried to download software it happen error and break of download. Maybe Robster is on right. I only write what happened in my case....

bakerjw Posts: 126 Rating: (18)	TIA portal V10.5 and V11 can download projects to PLCs with both V1.x.x and V2.x.x firmware. Please note that projects created with TIA portal V10.5 will not have any of the newer features available. Other than that the projects should run the same regardless of the firmware version.

When I try to download the program blocks on the PLC the following error occurs: Internal system error ( ErrorCode: 0xc037ab0004d5ff02 ) - Please contact customer support. I'm using TIA Portal v10.5 SP2, PAC library v1.5 and PLC S7-1200 CPU 1211C v2.0.2. Have someone found a solution?? Best Regards, Svetoslav Veselinov
