Helo BStravl Hati may have inadvertently provided wrong information on your IM 153-4 module, it operates on Profinet (see the screenshot below). It expects a Profinet address (and name), not a ProfibusS-DP address. Look at the following document, it states the following: 2. Module replacement without PG / operation without MMC With the new hardware, a MMC is no longer mandatory for startup and operation of the IM153-4. In the case of a module replacement address allocation of the IM will be performed automatically by the relevant PROFINET controller, without necessitating a programming device (PG). The only precondition is that the user has selected the option "Device change without replacement medium" in his previous configuration with STEP7. Is that the case for your original IM 153-4, now defective?
