ET200SP vs ET200M

I would like to ask the difference between ET200SP and ET200M as Remote I/O System via Profibus.

1) Does ET 200M communicate on Profibus DP and ET 200 SP on Profinet? Is this also one of the disfferences?

2) Are both used for control and safety functions? Or is ET 200 SP more suited for safety functions

3) Are both available with SIL certification?

 1) you can find both profibus dp and profinet interface module for both et200m and et200sp

2,3) there is various safety signal modules (sil certified) for both system.

Et200m uses most of s7-300 modules and it's very common in safety related applicatins utilized by s7-300f/400f/fh cpus.

There is  also Et200sp fail safe controller based on s7-1500

cpus.
