ionut.b Bronze Member Joined: 1/17/2007 Last visit: 10/6/2020 Posts: 289 Rating: (3)	Anybody has seen this error ? 34 of 50; Event ID: 16# 02:4016 CPU info: Serious hardware inconsistency (not relevant for user, system code: 16#00644A4E 16#10000034, RID=16#030D0000) CPU changes from STOP (initialization) to DEFECTIVE mode \|> HW_ID= 52 - Operating mode control The PLC goes into STOP mode. mopS04 Platinum Expert Joined: 3/5/2014 Last visit: 8/5/2022 Posts: 5521 Rating: (1054)	dear ionut, usualy the PLC´s changes into defektive mode when something is wrong inside the PLC´s. In other seriesa FW-Update will fix this. Maybe the Costumer Support knows something about this, especially obout the system code 16#00644A4E 16#10000034, RID=16#030D0000. So the best way to find it out is to start a Support Request.

0_Einstein Diamond Expert Joined: 7/7/2010 Last visit: 1/17/2025 Posts: 15541 Rating: (2465)	It appears you are using an external memory card. Try this: 1. Remove the memory card 2. Power cycle the PLC 3. Reset the plc to factory defaults using the online & diagnostics menu 4. Compile / rebuilt all for your PLC hardware and software. 5.Download just the hardware configuration. Right click on the PLC, and select Download. Then select download hardware configuration only. 6. Start the PLC 7.Check the diagnostic buffer. If it is working fine, your hardware configuration is acceptable. If you need to fix the hardware config, make sure all firmware revisions match your project for each module. Once your hardware download is acceptable, download the software configuration. Check the diag buffer again. If it looks like it did in the original post, forward your project with exact list of module part #'s to Support Requestso they can offer further suggestions.

The PLC go directly in Defective mode with the same errors as mantion above. I don't have a MC inserted. I tride factory resets but same result. Any way to solve the issue?

If size is too big, and the PLC goes STOP and RUN again, the it would not start again. Then: delete datalog file (SD card in laptop), and the PLC will go to RUN until next power cycle. In conclusion, I had to lower the size of the datalog file, so at power cycle the PLC wil allways go to RUN. Thank you.
