How to create a .exe file to access MS word to COMOS (Object level basis) The following rules apply for external programs that access COMOS via COM using the sideby- side method: ● All external programs, both COM and .NET, must be stored in the "BIN" folder of the local COMOS installation. For example, copy the "CustomComosExtension.exe" program to the following directory: "<COMOS installation path >\Current\BIN" ● All .NET DLL files visible from COM (technically speaking: COM Visible), must be saved in the "BIN" folder. ● Create a suitable manifest file to make COMOS objects accessible from the external file "CustomComosExtension.exe" via COM Interop. DineshK Bronze Member Joined: 1/24/2013 Last visit: 7/19/2022 Posts: 226 Rating: (42)	Hi, As described in manual (programming extentions), dll files has to developed and configured in COMOS installation directory for the menu "Custom control" Excel file with object Name and UID has to defined for navigation purpose. Navigate from which document (.doc or docx) has to be changed to macro enabled document. Use of Macro to call the excel sheet. Thanks Dinesh K
