fault-30022 in sinamics s-120 drive

Dear Sir

i am also facing this type of fault F30022 in G 130. Many times i have restart power, sometimes it becomes normal and sometimes it showing fault and CU showing red indication. right now it is running normal. but if i will restart power, i think the fault will show again. pls guide me what i check now in vfd?? 

Hi there, here Siemens kindly gave us exhausting description of F30022.

Cause:In the power unit, the monitoring of the collector-emitter voltage (U_ce) of the semiconductor has responded.
Possible causes:
- fiber-optic cable interrupted.
- power supply of the IGBT gating module missing.
- short-circuit at the power unit output.
- defective semiconductor in the power unit.
Fault value (r0949, interpret binary):
Bit 0: Short-circuit in phase U
Bit 1: Short circuit in phase V
Bit 2: Short-circuit in phase W
Bit 3: Light transmitter enable defective
Bit 4: U_ce group fault signal interrupted

Remedy:- check the fiber-optic cable and if required, replace.
- check the power supply of the IGBT gating module (24 V).
- check the power cable connections.
- select the defective semiconductor and replace.

In case if you are engineer of electronics, you can try to catch youre sporadic fail or repair PM. Otherwise you have no chance.

However,

• find optic cable and replace it temporarily (do some watch on drive behaviour);
  
• rerlace PM completely (do some watch on drive behaviour);
• find in PM burned components (need to have some skills on electronics).
  

P.S. Also, catching value of r949 while a fail occurs, thus you will be able to narrow down suspects.

I am facing problem in Sinamics S120 power module( 6SL3315-1TE32-1AA3)  Fault code 30022.  After 24 V DC reset drive is healthy and working but this problem now appearing frequently 2 to 3 times in a day.  Further i diagnosed and found Parameter r947[56] 30022  & r949[8]   4 .

I tried to get new IGBT card from siemens local supplier but no response from them.

Can any body help me to solve this problem.
