forum publishing problem

lately when i try to publish something the system tells me to log in in order to continue,but i already logged in and i can't publish

I noticed last week that there were certain word combinations that I could not publish. Those were file extensions combined with some word.

System always told me to log in, even though I was logged. When removed those, I could publish.

I think it was could not attach .reg file. 

But cannot remember for sure, I could write .reg without problem. It was related to sentence that i could not attach one.

Not being able to attach files with the ending .reg makes sense, as this file type is not part of the types you can upload (see the information that is given when you add an attachment to your post: File type: .pdf, .doc, .docx, .zip, .jpg, .jpeg, .gif, .png, .ppt, .pptx, .avi, .mpeg, .mov, .mpg, .wmv, .xlsx, .txt).

As you probably already know, the easiest way to bypass this is to zip the file(s).

Please let us know if the behavior persists.

Yes, I know that I cannot attach those files.

But the weird part was that I was not able to write "cannot attach .reg file", or something similar.

Going back to your last post now I see what you mean, it seems that I totally missunderstood you... 

Thanks for clarifying that it was text based.

We'll try to recreate this, even though it seems to work now. So let us know if it happens again.
