G120 Mc_power problem

Hello everyone,

I am making a positioning axis with a s7-1200, g120 cu240e-2p and encoder.

My problem is with the motion control library :

When the technology object is configured and when i start commissioning  the motor runs immediatly at full velocity when i click the enable button .

even when i enable MC_Power  the motor starts immediatly.

what is wrong please?

Hello,

the encoder direction is different to the motor direction. Positioncontroller recognises a position deviation and generates a setpoint. This increases the deviation and motor speeds up.

You can trace TO,velocity and TO.actualvelocity.

Please invert the direction of the encoder at the TO (Technologyobject).

The drive works perfectly with drive control panel,

however, when i changde gain to 0 and enabled commissioning the drive is enabled and the motor is not runing (wich is good now)  but panel says  "axis is moving at constant velocity"  and position is increasing,

when i click on jog the motor turns a bit then i got  "error in target range (target range not reached" .

Move drive only with Drive control panel.

When this is OK, please, use the trace to analyse the behavior and move with TO control panel.

actualvelocity, setpoint, velocity

Ceck reference value vor speed. P2000 and setting at the TO.

Deactivate the positioncontroller - set gain of positioncontroller to 0 and move only with precontrol 100%.

Check the behavior.

that's exactly what i did, 

when drive enabled:

         Axis_1.Position = 0

         Axis1.Velocity = 0     

         Axis1.ActualPosition=  keeps increasing

         Axis1.Actual_velocity = Fluctuating  between  + Set_velocity and  - Set_Velocity

when drive moves, TO can't follow.

i figured out that my problem was in the encoder, it has a floating pin that should be connected to ground.

every thing is working fine now, thanks again.

check encoder settings and reference value vor speed setpoint.

Move with drive control panel and trace actual velocity and actual position at the TO.

Fits the speed in the drive to the velocity at the TO?

If not check configuration of encoder, If yes check reference value.

5.4 Configuring the positioning axis technology object

Data exchange with the drive

In this area, you can configure the scaling of the setpoint speed:

● Reference speed

The reference speed of the drive is the speed, with which the drive spins when there is an

output of 100% at the analog output. The reference speed must be configured in the

drive, and transferred into the configuration of the technology object.

The analog value that is output at 100% depends on the type of the analog output. As an

example, for an analog output with ±10 V, the value 10 V is output at 100%.

● Maximum speed

In this field, specify the maximum speed of the drive.

The maximum speed is limited by the drive and by the value range of the analog output.

In the simplest situation, the reference speed and maximum speed are identical.

Analog outputs can be overloaded by approximately 17%. If the drive permits

overloading, you can use this to operate an analog output as a limit in the -117% to 117%

range.

● Invert drive direction

To invert the rotation direction of the drive, select the check box.
