According to Signal and System therory , a Signal has some properties that can be varied to create different type of that type of signal. As , I may remember, amplitude and frequency are the crucial properties of a signal. So, if I were you, I would ask my question like this: "I want to make a pulse train with fixed amplitude and variable frequency which is controlled by an analog signal." or " I want to make a sawtooth waveform with a fixed (or variable) frequency in which amplitude is limited to a high limit or can be amplified or attunuated by a factor " " I want to make a sinusoidal waveform with a fixed (or variable) frequency in which amplitude is limited to a high limit or can be amplified or attunuated by a factor "
You can check this, this function is provided by SIEMENS on modular PID controller and output of FB58. Pulse-width modulationPlease give us clear discription of your signal and its properties. regards |

Hello Tagolover; Have you heard about OSCAT.de librairies for the S7 PLCs? They are open-source, freely downloadable and present many useful functions not available directly through the Simatic Manager. The functions and comments areavailable in German, but there is an English version of the user manual; I have prepared an extract from the chapter on Signal; Generators that you will find in attachment. Hope this helps, Daniel Chartier Attachmentoscat_basic_doc_332_SignalGen.pdf (1170 Downloads) |
