GSD Problem with Tia Portal V16

adrian_botez Bronze Member Joined: 2/19/2013 Last visit: 11/10/2024 Posts: 185 Rating: (9)	Hello experts. I hace a problem installing GSD data files in Tia Portal V16. The GSD is installed correctly, but no image is displayed. All of them are displayed as DP-NORM gsd. Where do Tia Portal sotes this images and GSD files? In the project directoty, there is a folder named AdditionalFiles\GSD where GSD are stored, but even if you remove it from this folder, the GSD are still available. So, there have to be another way that Tia Portal search for the GSD file. Any ideea?

ChristophD Grandmaster-Expert Joined: 5/12/2006 Last visit: 11/13/2024 Posts: 22449 Rating: (3029)	hi, the gsd stored in the install directory of tia portal in different subdirectorys. the file in the project folder only for system which haven't the gsd installed an work with the project. was apicture delievered with the gsd or not? if the vendor doen't deliever the picture then is default the dp-norm. regards christoph
