Hardware limit switches EPOS S120

The hardware limit switches of EPOS in S120 (stop cams) normally generate an alarm.
1) Do they also generate an alarm if the stop cam minus is activated when moving in plus direction, and the other way around? Or do they always generate an alarm (and stop response)?
2) You can change the fault response of the stop cams from fault to alarm (as seen in the description of the fault F07491 and F07492). But if they are configured as alarm, will the axis still be stopped when moving in the direction of the activated stop cam (because in the description there is 'reaction upon  A : none)?

there is an error reaction in every case.

When F7491 and F7492 configured as alarm there is no error reaction.

Only statusbits works:

We activated hardware limit switch by giving POS_STW2.X15 as TRUE value. Also configured X130.2 and X130.5 of cu305 as negative and positive limit switches respectively. Now when i jog the axis in reverse direction and if  the reverse limit gets engaged, the axis went to F7491 fault.

After that if we acknwoledge the error by STW1.X7 = true the error is getting acknwoledged. But we cant move the axis in reverse direction anymore!. We can move the axis forward but not reverse . For that we need to switch of the drive and on it again!

Am i missing any procedure for acknwoledging the error? 

Am I missing anything? Any other bit in PZD 111 needs to be set for proper functioning?

Hello,

Please check direction signals & hardware limit switches input signals, i.e. p2568 is for plus & p2569 is for minus direction, p2568 = 1 which activates hardware limit switch.

P.S. - Also check p2584.01 value it must be 1 i.e. it selects level triggered evaluation of hardware limit switch instead of edge trigered evaluation.
