Hi folks, Hoping you can help me with an issue I am facing with Step 7 V15 /1212C/KTP7000. I have made two network designs, one for an NC contactor and one for an NO contactor. The NO contactor network works fine and is responsive as soon as I touch the button on the HMI . The NC contactor network usally has to be pressed multiple times quickly to get it to trigger the event in the PLC. The HMI beeps and the button looks like it is being activated, but the network program doesn't show the trigger. I have even "dumbed down" the network to just a simple on & off and it still is unresponsive. I've attached a PowerPoint with the two networks. Thanks in advance for your assistance. Hi Phelzier, try to put the event button not on click, on the Release event. Maybe this will help you... |

Thanks for the reply Willybong. Unfortunately that yields the same result. I've attached a small video so you can see the symptoms. I am using the simulation, but the PLC/HMI is functioning the same way. This video was using SetBit on the Tag when Released Cheers, Phelzier AttachmentUntitled Project.mpg (60 Downloads) |

Hi Hati, Yes, I did recompile and reload the simulator. I've just moved it back to set while pressed, so recompiling and restarting sim again. It still behaves the same way. I've attached a video of the NO circuit in use and it works everytime. Regards, Phelzier AttachmentNO Circuit.mpg (64 Downloads) |
