Hi, Hot swapping is unlikely to work, besides the possibility of electrical damage, it can cause fatal program errors, causing the CPU to stop anyway. I am interested in the reason you ask. IO modules can be changed very quickly, thanks to the removeable connectors, you could replace an 8I/8O unit in say 20 seconds anyway. Marc Sinclair www.germainesystems.eu |
