CPU: S7-1200 FW4.1 SOFTWARE: TIA Portal V13 SP1 Update 9 MOTION CONTROL: Motion V5 Hi. Using MC_HOME in mode 2 (Passive homing): Per definition referencing is done while some (user program) motion command moves the object over the reference sensor. It is also stated that another MC_HOME(MODE = 2) or MC_HOME(MODE = 3) command will abort the homing request. Is this accurate?.. are these the only options? Does that mean we have to invoke perhaps MC_HOME(MODE = 3) and then after MC_HALT to cancel the original MC_HOME(MODE = 2) command? My aim is to use the code published here: https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/ww/en/view/109477583 The problem is that I would want to have the system run a maximum distance. So if the maximum distance is reached, the transaction should be aborted. In terms of the code..
Thanks for sharing your thoughts. |
