How to change screen from a VBS action

hxmiesa Posts: 17 Rating: (2)	Hello, I have this script, that a kind user has helped me with in the WinCC conference, but it doesnt work, and I cant understand why; HMIRuntime.ActiveScreen("@1001").PictureName="RoutingValves" From the varios examples in the help-files, I have managed to change the ActiveScreen to the one I want (choosing between @screen, @1001, @OVERVIEW1, etc...) and although I -using a MsgBox function- can varify that ActiveScreen is indeed changed, the "RoutingValves" screen does not load in the main window. Strangely enough, the function; HMIRuntime.ActiveScreen.ActiveScreenItem.PictureName="RoutingValves" -loads the desired image, but not where I want it, but instead where PCS has its navigation-buttons and alarm-line etc. (The upper-most part of the monitor) (Trying to chnge the "active" screen has not helped; then the "Routing..." doesnt load at all.) Nemo Posts: 3149 Rating: (171)	Hi, well, VBS is not my programming language... In C it´s quite simple, you´ve got in WinCC Graphics Designer a DynamicWizard for "Picture exchange in workspace", based on SSMChangeWorkfield: http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/19224474 Nemo

hxmiesa Posts: 17 Rating: (2)	Hi Nemo, Thank you. My need it this; An event happens, and I make a VBS MsgBox pop up, where the operator can click on Ok or Cancel buttons. If he clicks on Ok, I want to go to a specific screen. (The "RoutingValves" screen) I suppose it can be done in C also, but I have no idea how... Regards /Henrik

hxmiesa Posts: 17 Rating: (2)	Hi Memo, I´m sorry, but I dont know what WinCC Picture Windows is. The functionality I need, I need to do in a PCS-7 project. The changing of screens I need, isthe standard process window/screen. (I think it is the screen called "@1001".) Regards /Henrik

Nemo Posts: 3149 Rating: (171)	Hi , you find in PCS7 > GraphicsDesigner > Object Palette > Smart Objects > picture windows. you place this picture window in the wincc picture and set it "invisible". By script or variable you can e.g. switch it visiblewith an operator dialog: "do you wantsome beers ?" => Button:yes: SSMchangeWorkfield (....beer.pdl...) => Button no: SSMChangeWorkfield (...cola.pdl..) you can find some more information about handling picture window in wincc online help and "wincc getting started" manual Nemo

(C not being my programming language... ;-) But I cannot find a command that CLOSES the popup screen after the operator has clicked on a button there. (After exceuting the SSMChange... I want to execute a command that closes the message window) Can you help me with this also? Best regards Henrik
