Hi everyone, I have some questions about this controller. I'm planing to use the IGUS D1 motor controller, with S7-319F PLC. I will need more than 8 of this controllers. I already saw that with the s7-1200 and s7-1500, there are MB_CLIENT and MB_SERVER blocks to comunicate with the controller using modbus TCP. So, with the S7-300, it seems that i have to buy some kind off licence to use MODBUSPN blocks. Did i realy need to buy this licence or anyone knows other way to communicate with this controller, using S7-300? Best regards ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ |

Hi, data exchange over IO is no problem. Using PN interface of S7-300 or CP343-1 cost money if you want to use Modbus TCP- for this you can buy a S7-1500 PLC. With canopen I do not know myself well but I know there werde some modules from Helmholz who support CAN Bus. Please have a look to the following Link - hope it helps: PN/CAN LINK – Configuring the "CANopen manager" and "CANopen slave" operating modesRegards, Towome |
