How to create alarm messages automaticly by using Step7 ?

cosmetric Posts: 88 Rating: (0)	Hi Everyone I have Step7 V5.4 SP4 and WinCC V7.0 SP1 which are installed on a PC. I have created a multi project like in PCS7 and it contains PLC project and OS project. (While installing wincc, I have also installed AS-OS engineering) I created a FB it contains ALARM_8P and I used it in the OB1. When I compile the OS project, the tags that relates created FB, are created automaticly. But I could not create messages automaticly. I have read the document that is attached by me and I have done needed arrengement but could not create messages automaticly in the alarm logging. Attachment sfb35 alarm logging.pdf (515 Downloads)

kenan_kapidzic Posts: 35 Rating: (0)	Are you creating these messages in both Symbole Editor and using the SFB35? Did you set up the messages in the Special Object Properties of the FB and its DB? Are you saying that after you download your S7 program and compile the OS the alarms are not generated in the Alarm Logging section of WinCC Explorer? Or are the alarms not showing up in the alarmdisplay in Runtime?

cosmetric Posts: 88 Rating: (0)	I am creating the messages with special object properties of the FB and DB. I dont use symbol table for this. I entered the messages in the special object properties of the FB and DB. I made the os compile and I could not see the messages in the alarm logging of the wincc and also I did not see the messages in the runtime.

kenan_kapidzic Posts: 35 Rating: (0)	what kind of cpu is in your hardware config? is your os station networked? when you put the project into runtime go to the tools option in WinCC explorer with out stoping runtime and make sure that your logical connection status is OK............. or go to NetPro and make sure the S7 station and the OS station share a common network.............

kenan_kapidzic Posts: 35 Rating: (0)	i think the problem is with your selected cpu. if you check the help file in simatic managerfor SFB35 it says that SFB35 is only supported by S7-400 PLCs........
