How to get i/o card fault information

how come Posts: 382 Rating: (47)	Hi, I have DI,DO,AI,AO and two Im153 cards in my configuration. These cards are place at different slot in the hardware configuration. If i want to know each individual card fault and what is the fault, what function block should i use orhow do i go about doing it using step 7? Appreciate that someone can help me. how come Posts: 382 Rating: (47)	Hi thanks for the information. i will read through and try out. By the way my system configuration is a H-system with 2 im153, and DI,DO,AI,AO. Do anyone have any idea how come when any of my DI,DO,AI or AO having card fault [SF] the h-system PLC CPU does not show any fault indication. Is there any porgams or ways using step7 to identify which IO card at which slot giving IO fault or card fault information? Thanks! with regards

Aret Posts: 2348 Rating: (264)	I tried SFC 13 in similar system. It worls - the only thing is that it took an amount of time (i had about 100 DP slave - not only ET200M). As a result i had to use SFC51 to diagnose only DP-slave error - but not futher.
