what kind of content of the csv are you talking (alarms, audit, tag archive)?

Do you want to change the order of columns in the Runtime? That you can change easily in the Runtime.

Dear Frink,

Right now I configure Alarm log which starts to log at the start of the runtime, so the saved CSV file in my computer shows me the data in the form which is shown in the attached picture I need to modify this table ( remove some columns ) to only show in the recorded file the (No. , Time, Date, Status and alarm description).

Hello Mahmoud,

in my opinion it is not possible to modify the structure of the automatically generated alarm log file. But you can use a vbscript to run through the csv-log-file and write the required information to another csv-file.

Or you solve it in Excel - by use of a second tab or a macro.

see https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/ww/en/view/59604194 in the second procedure no. 5 "change script" shows how to read data from a file and split it - in your case read data from the log file and split. Instead of writing the split data to HMI-tags, you can write the content you need in the required order to another file as described in the first procedure no. 5 "create script - part 2".

Are you shure that you will get the "Alarm text" to the .csv file? Last time checked, it doesn't save the name of the alarm you have in the alarm list.

you can use a setting to choose if you want to have the Alarm Tetxts in the Logfile or not:

AlarmLog-> Properties-> Logging method-> "Log event text and Error location"

I started digging a little further (Basic panels and Comfort panels), and you have to make this selection in the "Alarm log" tag properties itself. It's not visible anywhere else. Thanks for the heads up.
