Hello,my men: I have one CPU and one CP343-1EX20-0XE0 , and I have already set it all OK as a "Server" by MODBUS TCP protocol , just likes the manual says: /tf/WW/en/postattachments/download?attachmentId=5512 And I have one 315-2EH13-0AB0 CPU(PN/DP), the preblem is that what's FB/FCs I have to use for MODBUS TCP protocol? And what I should watch out for the programming? Please give me specific guide or manual. AConfusedAngel, Sex Driver |

Dear SexDriver, there are 3 products for communication via ModbusTCP: CP variant, CP Redundant (H-system) variant and PN-CPU variant. If you have a CP variant, this variant you can't use in a PN-CPU "pure". The only possibility to use this variant in a PN-CPU is to use an additional CP343-1 and you project the communication just as in a normal CPU with CP. The other possibitlity is to use the PN-CPU variant. With this variant you don't need an additional CP. The communication is established with UDT65 and TCON/TDISCON and the data transfer is realized with TSEND/TRCV. The blockparameters of MODBUSPN are a little different like the block parameters of MODBUS and MODB4, but the result of the communication is the same. The manual you can download here: FAQ.
