How to setup a multiuser session V14.

Hi,

I want to setup a multiuser session for Tia V14.

The mulitiuser server configuration is started.

But when I start Multiuser server administration a recieved a error.

Can someone help me?

Other question. If i want to give a other user rights to the project.

Must this be a user what is know in Windows?

Or just a name and password.

I have two laptop connected together only with a LAN cable and connection is established, I want to know is it possible to create a multiuser project on one laptop as server and connect from other one as client?

If yes How?

 I know it is correct I only wanted to know with my configuration is it possible or not,

I have set the configuration told in document but I couldn't connect from one laptop to another.

Hi, thank you so much for replying, but I have already solved my problem.

The main problems were:

1. user(s) to be connected to server, they need to have an independent account created on the server. These accounts need to be identical to the accounts created on clients (User name and password, this is REALLY important!)

2. create server on clients with multiuser server administration, with server NAME and PORT. Networks with proxy configurations: proxy needs to be disabled or add the server NAME as an exception.

3. permissions on multiuser server administration, the accounts created on server need to be assigned as manager, on User Management.

Then I was able to use Multiuser project with two laptops on a network, engineering on the same TIA Portal v14 project.
