The documentation contains these points: First setup of the Industrial OS Installing Software from the Service Stick Create Autostart script for node-red Edit IP settings Change boot order Erase eMMc Re-install Industrial OS Backup / Restore functionality of the Service Stick Use of the UART cable I know this is a long document, but don't be deterred I created screenshots from each and every step, what makes the document quite big. Please also consider the texts, not only the screenshots. Attached you can find the documentation and the file fw_env.conf to change the boot order in a .zip file. ---------------------03.01.2023--------------------- Updated document to Industrial OS V3.2.2 Valid for FS:04/FS:05 devices and FS:01-FS:03 with updated firmware (as of V1.2.1) based on Debian 11.5 Node-RED pre-installed and autostarted automatically Node-RED GPIO nodes pre-installed mel-setup now able to change mode of the Arduino pins fw_env.config for changing boot-order available Node-RED firewall issue solved The Industrial OS Service Stick image will soon (end of January) be available for download here. And I miss some configurations, such as IP. Now I want to re-configure the pre-installed OS, how can I do that? Best regards!

The thing is that when i introduce the command "mel-setup" and i go to "software" and i select node-red to install it, when i apply my changes, nothing happens and i still have not installed node-red. And i would say that is not an internet problem.

Checked again: My system is on sdcard. When I plug in the service stick mel-setup starts automatically and the option to install software is given. I go to software and there you have to navigate to the desired software, press RETURN and select to install or remove. After done and apply changes the software is installed. But wait: You miss Node-Red? According to your screenshot this package is marked with an I. So I think it is already installed but not started. It does not so automatically. According to the manual you'd have to have a startup script described there. What also puzzles me is that nodejs isn't there because this is installed by default at my system. More findings: This method only works if you did a (sudo) apt update after first boot. Software install according to page 22 does NOT work if you have the IOT connected to the internet AND set up an apt mirror. I do not know if it works WITHOUT setting up an internet connection and using the ServiceStick as sole software source...
