I know my AS would not be connected directly to their GPS, so shall i connect my AS to their OS server?

rezajan55 Posts: 45 Rating: (1)	Hi all I have an S7-400 AS in a plant shich should be considered as time slave. the project manager asked me about what i need for time synchronization with their time master. they have their own time receivers. I have CPU412-2 and CP443-1 in my AS and i know how to configure them as time slave over Ethernet, but the question is what specifications should the third party (time master) have.will my AS work with time master in Simatic mode? I know my AS would not be connected directly to their GPS, so shall i connect my AS to their OS server? Please help, Thanks
