I2t motor model calculation CU S120

joel bitar Posts: 1 Rating: (0)	Hi, How is the I2t calculated in S120 CU? I have no KTY sensor or other temperature sensor more than a PTC for trip and alarm. The reason I need to know is that I need to know which parameter that is used to do the I2t motor model calculation. And I would also like to know which parameter is using the 12t calculation, such as "motor utilization". The driven object is An AC-servo, permanent magnet synch. //Joel

Dependency: Refer to: r0034, p0604, p0605, p0606, p0611, p0615, p0617, p0618, p0619, p0625, p0626, p0627, p0628 see list manual parameter description: http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/68041075/0/en Further I recommend to use FW4.5 HF6 or higher. Because there areextended temperatur models (also for standstill and so on).

I am using 1FK motors, and by default the i2t calculation is turned off (p612.0) I am trying to justify to a machine builder the benefits of upgrading Simotion Firmware from 4.2 to 4.3 (which obviously will upgrade the Sinamics to 4.5) and hopefully better protect the motors.
