It is strange and normally it should not be a problem (no problem in STEP 7 V5.5 and in TIA for S7-1200). But after some tests with the function block and some others (library blocks created for S7-1200) it is the solution of the problem. Disadvantage : The number of networks increase. Hopefully is this a temporary issue in V13 |

It was the same in STEP 7 v5.5, you have to store the result in a temporary variable and then use this variable. Also for other FBs that have OUT and IN var, they cannot be paired directly. |

Dear Sir , We are using a CPU 1215C DC/DC/DC. We are try to use a TON timer in FBD.But we can not understand how to Declare timer name or timer no. We found one option by using with DB but is it possible to use without DB like Step 7 ? |

For S7-1200,There is only option of using IEC Timers. They are system function blocks and they require assigning a DB or being used in Multi-instance structure.
For S7-300/400/1500 , using SIMATIC Timers is also possible in which you assign a timer value and handle timers with S5 Time data type. |
