Integrating Simocode with Step 7

What version of Simocode Pro units are you working with? Simodode pro S, ProV? If yu do not know, show us the part number of the unt, we can tell from that information. Here are the differences between the different models:

From this operating manual for Parameterizing Simocode Pro, you will see 2 different software packages:

- Simocode ES 2007 works with Simatic Manager (Step 7 v5.x), only with communication blocks for Profibus or Profinet;.

- Simocode ES v1x (now at v17) works with TIA Portal, and comes in Basic or Professional versions, described here (you can donlwoad the manual in Spanish, if this can help)
