Hi, Welcome to the forum! For your first question. Yes, when you first see Step 7 V5.5, that is normal. PCS7 consists of several software packages integrated in one application, including step7 v5.5, WinCC, CFC, SCL etc. I cannot see which licenses are missing, but you need at least an AS/OS Engineering license (6ES7658-5AX28-0YA5). When using a real PLC, you need AS PO objects according to the configured objects in your project (6ES7653-2BA00-0XB5). Equal to this should be OS objects that needs to be installed in your server/single station project (6ES7658-2XA00-0XB0). What licenses are installed at the moment?

Hi, How did you install PCS7? Did you select a program package like ES Single Station? Or did you install software components separately? You should select the correct package so the system will install all necessary components. |

Hi, OK, let me know if you need any help selecting the correct packages. Please note, after you have selected the correct package you want (ES/OS/Client with/without Batch, Routecontrol etc.), you can select additional software like installing PLCSim, Simatic Logon, Usage of trial license etc. |
