Hi, I have connected one Ethernet cable from IOT 2040 to my laptop & another Ethernet cable from IOT 2040 to the wifi router but when i try to ping using "ping www.google.com", i only get the following: "ping: bad address 'www.google.com'". Can anyone here advise me on how i can make a successful internet connection to the IOT 2040? ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ |

Is DHCP enabled for the port you use to connect to the router? Use iot2000setup to check and/or reconfigure. |

What happens if you use the ip itself. Ping on another pc and use that google ip adress to check whether dns resolving is the problem or something else. |

If it is dns related, you can try to ping on pc and take the ip address and ping with that instead of google.com on the IoT 2040. |
