Running Windows XP, you can connect to a SIMATIC TI505 both serially and via ethernet if you have an Ethernet communications card in the 505 PLC. I have connected with both TISOFT and SoftShop. WinCC, Intouch iFix and other HMI products have 505 drivers. Kepware offers both an Ethernet and Serial OPC server. If you have more specific questions I will be happy to assist you. billwest
