is it possible to use the PLCSIM and feed a clock memory bit pulse signal to the 1Count24V to simulate?

Just a newbie question to start: is it possible to use the PLCSIM and feed a clock memory bit pulse signal to the 1Count24V to simulate? We have a very similar setup counting signals from the encoder in RPM mode, however, I don't have the hardware setup at this point. Any feedback will be helpful. TIA

EDL AUTOMATION Posts: 51 Rating: (24)	Yes, Its possible and simple , in your function block program - replace clock pulse - memory bit - M0.0 ( 100ms ) in place of your encoder-input address then you can transfer the count to an memory word .

In this case, what will be the actual input address for the digital inputs? I've went through the manual and still very murky about it Noticing that there are restraints to write directly to the peripheral inputs, I was wondering how I can send the toggling memory bit to the input of the 1Count24V. Hope you can go a little bit detail on the implementation. Thanks in advance.
