Is there a 'delete tempoary files' function to solves compiler errors?

With our firstTIA project (TIA V11 Upd1) wefound a fewstrange bugs that are probably caused by compiler problems. Problems like: -One ofthe labels doesn't change with a language switch? Changing the text of that label + compile solves this. -An error that a TAG is defined twice while the TAG is only defined once (a new tag must be created to solve this) -Button-click event activates wrong action (action of another button), deleting the click event and re-assignment solves this? Besides these problems theTIA seems a big step forward, hopefully these issues are solved in the next release.

After installation of SP2 the software asks for a reboot. Since thenWindows XP doesn't restart and comes up with the fatal Blue screen even in safe mode !? I don't know the cause yet, hopefully our IT-guys can fixe this without installing everything again. Advice for everyone: beforeinstalling SP2 please make an image of your PC first !!!!

According tothe BSOD it is causedbecause the CPU tries to execute code in non-executable memory. A new driver executing something in a data area ? or a virus may be (The PC has up to date MacAfee running but i know that is not a 100% garantee) We will scan for a virus first if we get it up and running again (safe mode doesn't work either ) It's a standalone PC without connection to internet,the only changes that are made to the system since the last good boot up are made by installation of SP2. Not a problem we can usejust before X-mass break I'll let you know if we findthe cause.

The BSOD does not give a mem-dump just a message "An attempt has been made to execute non-executable memory" "Check if new hardware or software is correcttly installed ....etc" When i reboot in safe mode i get a BSOD with message "IRQL_NOT_LESS_EQUAL" According to Microsoft forums this could be caused by driver problems. I am now re-installing the TIA Portal on a identical laptop and will also update withSP2 and keep my fingers crossed. To be continued

Afterinstallationof WinCC V11 SP2 on this Windows XP SP3 laptop the boot cycle is interrupted with a BSOD (visible for a 10th of a secondfollowed by an automatic reboot creating a loop). No safe mode access to Windows, only one day left to finish this TIA project, life is though as a Siemens beta tester The next and last step this year will be a test on a W7 system... I guess i better create a new topic for this SP2 problem.

Remark Bronze Member Joined: 9/1/2006 Last visit: 8/1/2024 Posts: 193 Rating: (13)	Yes also HP (identical) so it may be a combination of HP-hardware and new software TIA drivers which give a conflict. The 3rd system (also HP) works with SP2 but then under W7 Prof.
