KUKA and S7-1200

I was wondering me, If I want to change the PLC with an s7-1200, how can I establish the communication between PLC and robot if those function are written in AWL code? Thanks in advance

Thanks in advance Hello sbartoc, My suggestion would be to go with a CPU 1511 or CPU 1510, where both of them support STL (AWL). S7-1200 and STL is not possible.

Thanks in advance S7-1200 do not support STL (AWL). You must change to SCL or FBD (FUP), or do not change over to 1200.

The S7-1200 is a good option to have for what you want to do.. but you will have to convert to something other than STL (as already stated). How complicated is your code?.. would you feel comforatble with converting all your work to SCL instead? The question comes up - why do you wish to move away from the S7-300? You could consider using an ET200 in a standalone configuration. If you need more information on this option - feel free to ask the guys here. Greetings. w
