MAS 5: Automatic startup of modem for sending SMS

Sol Posts: 7 Rating: (0)	Is there anyone that has a MAS 5 example with automatic startup, without using buttons? So the INIT start automatic after power on, and than put the set into manual mode . SO that MAS 5 i ready for sending SMS after powerup, without pushing any buttons? I will use inputs for the different sms's. rgs Knut

RushHour Posts: 5 Rating: (0)	Hi Sol, attached you see my way to have a automatic initialization. After CPU startup the SM0.5 counts 5 seconds. After those 5 seconds the init_start is set. lorenzo Posts: 8 Rating: (0)	Hi Sol: If you want to try an alternative of MAS5, download Nubitek_SMS_Manager. http://www.nubitek.com/section02/pr01-sms_mgr.htm It's a library for S7-200 for sending/receiving SMS. Very reliable and very easy to use for the programmer: you don't have to take care of the inicialization (even after any failure of GSM net or of power supply), or of outgoing SMS collisions, or incoming-SMS analysis. Everything is included in the library and it is transparently to users. Just send and receive SMSs. Regards, Lorenzo

What do you want to do? It seem´t that you use the application code behind MAS 5 for your own automation task. if this is so, i suggest to create a very new project with only the MAS 5 libraries included. Then you can pick out from the mas 5 application code what you want individually. best regards Lif @ Lorenzo Please stop your advertisment in all of your posts and help those customers in the problem they currently fighting with.
