Modbus communication between fuji ace series drive and s7-1200, read parameters

Macgra Posts: 27 Rating: (0)	Dear sir , I have make modbus communication between fuji ace series drive and s7-1200(cpu 1214c dc/dc/dc) cpu in tia v 13.communication is working. Now I want to read the drive voltage,current,rpm,and frequency in our program.for this how to make the program and I don't know the address of drive voltage,current etc. Pls help me. If u have samples program , pls send me. Thanks ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Split from S7 1200.

Can you select this in the drive configuration?

smiffy Platinum Expert Joined: 1/17/2007 Last visit: 10/21/2024 Posts: 1547 Rating: (537)	It is highly unlikely that anyone on here will know the modbus addresses of the data you seek, for a slave device that you have not gave us any details about. My advice is 1) Familarise yourself with how the Modbus protocol works as your clearly do not seem to be that familiar with the Modbus prorocol. My Modbus general description document (a sticky in this forum) is a very good place to start. 2) Get the address map for the slave device. From that you would be able to see the Modbus addresses of the data you seek. 3) Then use the forum search facility to locate and download a sample project (there are many threads covering this). 4) Read help description for the modbus driver blocks in your S7-1200 CPU manual.
