OkayBilalDsuggestion has worked for me. Now I can see the startup picture on the Client PC. I can use servername::tagname to access the server tags with in the VBscript. But I have created Menus with VBscript action. That VBscript action doesn't work on the Client PC. Someone please reply me if you have any idea about that.

Already seen that thread as per post I have in process to change my internal tags from Project vide update to Computer local update. It may help me. It takes some time verifiy. But manual won't worth as I already have it. It looks like a brochure for me. If there is any Getting Started guide for WinCC multi-user project link would help many users. ThanksMicroMan. I will back after testing.....

MicroMan:Thanks for your good support. Already I have seen that document (WinCC V7.0 SP1 MDM - WinCC: Configurations). With that document only I have in Middle of my project. There is no clear description or I'm not able to understand the difference between multi-user system or distributed system. What I should configure for multi-user system and what for distributed system. Both are collasped. Even its very worth document for me. There is no more information about Internal Tags. First I'm going to create new simple project for both multi-user system and distributed system. Hope any one of that system will work for me. Just for a try. |

I have several Multi-Users projects running. Each server has up to 16 clients without own project. Never had a problem with internal tags, not on the servers nor on the clients. |

@SteBo:Let us share your experiance. Problem identified only on the Server PC. But another two Client PC works well with the Internal Tags and my project looks fine on the Client PC. Any settings or configuration needs to modifiy? Single Server with Two more Clients is enough for me.
@bg2492: Its not a problem. But I have tried both with no success. Currently I have used "Computer Local Update" option for the Internal Tags. |

Hey SelvakumaaR, at this point it's not quite clear what your problem exactly is about. Please provide us with detailed information (what exactly are you trying through VB scripts from SQL???, what behaviour do you notice on the server, on the clients???). Are your scripts made so they can run from server as well as from client?...)? Did you try to run apdiag.exe to monitor possible errors from your scripts?... |

thanks for your screenshots, although it didn't make me much wiser. I would add a gsc diagnostic window in your picture ( or run apdiag.exe & output window) on both server and client(s) to check possible script errors. It might be related to your sql-coding in vbscript... Just something to try. |

also check C:\Program Files\Siemens\WinCC\diagnose\ for possible errors in the log-files. You know, it's quite hard to guess what might be wrong. I assume that your internal tags are working just fine if you manipulate them without scripts? Seems to me that your script has access to your SQL-database when triggered from the client but not when triggered from the server? If your GSC windows doesn't display errors, apdiag sometimes can give extra info indeed. Otherwise, add some trace lines in your script at several places, this way you can monitor the script in GSC window to see if it goes through every critical part from start to finish. |
