It shouldn't be true according to these links. (Despite not appearing in tia) https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/mdm/109741593?c=84184184843&lc=en-MZ https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/mdm/109742272?c=90230745355&lc=en-PA My question is how to enable/disable hardware with S7-1200 then?

I'm guessing the D_ACT_DP is available for S7-1200 from v14 and newest. (In V15.1 is available for S7-1200) Anyone can confirm?

Depends on the S7-1200 Firmware revision and project setup. If your project has been upgrades from lower firmware and/or portal versions, not all instructions will necessarily be visible. In the instruction pane, stretch it out so you can see the version of everything. In newer portal versions, you can click the icons to update your project and use the latest versions of the available instructions. This may also make instructions appear. However, with older PLCs, this may not help your situation. You may have to resort to some kind of trick or work-around to simulate the devices being offline (by ignoring their I/O and faults).
