Need ABB GSDML File

In my project I am using Siemens S7-1500 and would like to communicate it with ABB 580 via Profinet (using FENA-21 card in ABB). On the PLC side there is also additional card CM1542 for network isolation (one for drives and another (with PLC) for HMI/SCADA. I downloaded GSD file: GSDML-V2.31-ABB-FENA-20150120.xml

Drive is configured according to  EN_FENA01_11_21_UM_C_A4.pdf (pages from 303 to 308)

Problems:

1. On ABB side there is information that in slot 1 there is FENA-11 (not FENA-21 like in real)

2. On the PLC side there is information that there are differences between installetm FENA module and cofigurated in PLC.

I asked already ABB about (1) issue but does anyone had similar problem?

Hello aamirawan;

The download of the FENA-21 gsdml file can be found here, in the ABB support files:

https://new.abb.com/drives/connectivity/fieldbus-connectivity/profinet/fena-21

This appears to be a slightly different name for this gsdml file (GSDML-v2.31-ABB-FENA-20150402.xml) , possibly a newer version. Try it out, if fr some reason it does not work for you, write to ABB support and request the exact file name you are looking for.
