Need to have that counter value available in HMI via modbus

i have new question, 

ill have sensor witch will be used to count floors, and i need to have that counter value available in HMI, via modbus, i don't know how to do that. I guess i should use holding registers somehow, still haven't figured out how to use them either..

Split from modbus via freeport, and ports1 and 0 s7 200.

Well that's exactly what i dint know how to do, i tried using move and convert blocks to have counter value written in vd0 and its not working ..

Yeah, rs485, hmi is modbus master, plc is slave, sensor is 0/1 24v , i need to count every time it gives 24v on plc imput, and i need to see value on hmi too, modbus starting holding register is &VB0

i guess i should write counter value to vb0 and read it via hmi

I use Co-Trust's HMI TP07,

It doesn't need to be counted via HSC, it can be counted via normal counter, of course i guess i will need HSC too later, if investor decides to implement encoder in project.

Sensor in question should count floors,ill use up/down counter, and i should have info in hmi on witch floor elevator is.

i wanted to read value directly by HMI, and i don't know how.

In my HMI/Skada program i have those modbus funcions:  0x Coil

                                                                                              1x Dis Input

                  Im able to read and write in them                       3x Inp register

                                                                                             4x Hol register

And many data tipes that i can choose for my tags: int, +/-int,double,+/-double, float,bit,16 bit group, ASCII,int21,+/-int21,double4321,double 2143, double3421, float4321, float2143, float3412, +/-double4321, +/-double 2143, +/-double3421

Now, i don't know how or on witch address in plc should i write counter value, so i would be able to read it via modbus, my holdstart register in MBUS_INIT is &VB100, im not using any more vb locations in plc program.

Im not using Skada, just HMI, 

My programming software is for programming skada/hmi, but i'm just using hmi.

I defined S7 200 plc as modbus slave and it works with qmodMaster pc app, and i can read and write digital outputs with hmi..

My biggest problem is that i don't know how to define  Holding registers in S7 200 modbus slave,

And have it readed by HMI

I'm lacking elemental knowledge xD
