I have 3 new designs which can be done with 8.2 but direct data link to AWS would eliminate an extra gateway (and point of failure) in all of them. So 8.3 sounds great but the PR is useless for evaluating whether we should hold out for it or not If I had at least a manual-style what’s new and expected release date then it would be an easy call. My expectation is that the HW differences are so great that none of the new comms stuff will make it into the current module generation.

If I look at the site https://new.siemens.com/global/de/produkte/automatisierung/systeme/industrie/sps/logo.html it seems to be here now. But if I look at available software updates Logo! Soft Comfort 8.2.1 (aka 8.2 SP1 it seems) is still the moste current one. And if I take a look at the product page in https://mall.industry.siemens.com/mall/de/WW/Catalog/Product/6ED1052-1MD08-0BA0 there is no mention at all for cloud stuff. It's "slightly" confusing (like so many things around the LOGO! ecosystems and version numbering/naming)

But I got the infromation it will come soon. Delivery release is planned for end of October 2020. Then LOGO! 8.3 and LSC V8.3 including LWE V1.1 should all be available.

Yes, it could be the very big development step in LOGO! history. New Logo Web Editor also excellent that work with LOGO8.2 old model too.
