Node red Online issue With Iot 2040 & S7-200 Smart Plc

Aditya Narayan Advanced Member Joined: 5/15/2019 Last visit: 8/20/2024 Posts: 18 Rating: (0)	Dear Experts, I am using iot 2040, s7-200 smart plc with node red configuration but when ever i am going to deploy it showing offline but thats why i am using netToPlcsim and my status port 102 is ok but after that node red showing me same offline status and error please check in this pictures. Please help me. Connections of all - now all connections are connected to each others and pinging is ok Laptop to scalance, scalance to IOT X1P1 PORT AND Plc s7-200 plc Iot X2P1 port is connected to internet Laptop ip- 192.168.200.55 Iot ip- 192.168.200.1 plc ip- 192.168.200.4 iot internet port - ip automatically (DHCP Enable) Attachment offline and errors.PNG (322 Downloads)

According to this post, connecting the IOT2040 with a 200Smart works. I only know this error you get, when the IP is wrong or there is no connection. If the IOT can reach the PLC but there is something else wrong, then you should get another error. Best regards!

Sir actually in putty configuration i pinged 8.8.8.8 it was worked and in my laptop i pinged Plc and Iot is ok. But i am trying to read Plc value but it is not going to online mode. Sir i have hardware s7-200smart plc netToplcsim is required for connection or not required.

According to the post I linked to, there is nothing specificly required. DJ_1 For S7300/400/200/logo No need to configure any thing at PLC side for communication with IoT. Can you post your node-red flow? Best regards!

And my procedures are drag and draw S7 in and S7 out node and no setting changes in S7 out only changes in S7 in node. 1st steps- set the Ip Address - 192.168.200.4 (Plc) 2nd step- set the variable mw14 and set the name 3rd step- slot no.1 and port-102 then update and deploy ok But it need some time to come in online and again i deploy then it is not going to online and value is not showing to me. Hi, What ever steps you have followed is correct. I have tried using IOT with S7 200 smart PLC and after a lot of struggle got through it. After deploying your code to the node red , you shpuld disconnect your connection with S7 200 smart PLC means make sure you are not online with the PLC from your laptop. This will connect the IOT to PLC and will show you online on node - red. S7 200 smart cant connect simultaneously with Laptop and IOT.. Try it , will work.
