Number of Modbus TCP/IP devices on s7-1500 cpu-1515 -2pn will support

What is the maximum number of devices I can connect to an 1515-2PN CPU through Modbus TCP/IP?

Where can I find this information?

in specific CPU description you can see how much connection you can create. Also question is maybe not correct because it can be:

1. how much via available connection resources

2. how much due IP address range

you can connect infinit number of devices you want if you don't use the simultanous connections(they are limited by the type of the CPu you use).this means that you can creat your own bus by changing the connection parameters during the runtime.

this is of course ok, but if you don't use available connection resources of specific CPU, you can connect only to one device at time not to infinite. Therefore I have ask what he really want to know, also give him that CPU connection resources info what I expect as his question.

 i use a counter from 1 to n (the number of MB servers) and disconnect and change the parameters every time.

 Interresting on my MB_Server i have create 10 ConnectionParameters whis port 502 +NumberOfServer.

There a beter way to do this ? maybe where a way to have a multiple sockets on a same port (502)

It does both,

i have somefing like 10 big tree of cpu. and some stations communicates with this 10 cpu in the same time.

(I use ModBus for the opening protocol)

This FAQ just say we can't have 10x MB_SERV on S7-1x00 in the same port. 

i have no issues at the moment, i use multi-port. But Is just to see if someone doing a better management/code
