The Windows user should be a member of "Siemens TIA Engineer" group and "SIMATIC NET" -> see Windows Computer Management. Background: OPC DA server is started with the rights of the interactive user. The identity of the OPC DA Server "OPC.SimaticNET.TCSB" can be changed from "Interactive user" to "This user" in the DCOM configuration. The name and password of an appropriate user should then be specified for "This user" (see User Groups) and administrator privileges assigned. at windows > component services > computers > my computer > DCOM config. What is the name of the PC, if it is "FIELD-PG" too, you need to create a user with an other name. The name of the PC, and the name of the user can not be the same. Regards Georg Berghof
