Dear SIEMENS forum members, I've faced with a problem (of course solved) , and I would like to share solution with you. We bought a new computer HP with Vista + xp downgrade licence. It comes with Microsoft Office 2007 trial . Before installing wincc we need to install SQL. Installation of SQL server wasnt successfully finished. I see that: There is a problem on OWC Searched on the forum about OWC, couldnt find any solution. OWC is Office Web Components , required by sql server installation More info about OWC Its OWC 2003 comes with SQL server 2005 with wincc6.2 sp2 But there is an already installed OWC 2007 on our scada computer. We deleted everything about Office2007 , and start installation again Our problem is solved. I just would like to share my experience with SIEMENS users. Best regards |
