Panels Coldstart with network issues

Several panels were failing and return from failure throughout the morning. After fixing the switch we found that 3 of the panels coldstarted and I wanted to know why. Edgar Torres Posts: 10 Rating: (2)	Older revision Ethernet panels had many known coldstart issues related to Ethernet connectivity 2.8.4 is fairly old, you can currently upgrade to 2.8.10 for no credits. [As long as your Insight version is compatible and with the latest firmware.rev.xml] 2.8.10 resolves many Ethernet related issues [From the release notes] -Panel no longer locks up nor coldstarts when processing fragmented IP messages -Panel no longer coldstarts when Primary DN server is down. -Potential Ethernet panel lockups caused by Windows Server 2008 have been eliminated. -Memory/performance enhancement to optimize buffer utilization for network communication. -Panel no longer locks up nor coldstarts when processing fragmented IP messages, typically caused by network security scanner or network issue.
