PC controlling ET 200L

I have an "Image processing" application (so I have to use PC with C++) controlig simple machine ( 8 DI / 8 DO ) . I know that I could use WinAC + ODK but they are too expensive If there's a way to read DI & write DO directly to ET200 it would be excellent

Here a link to the Win7 compatible version: http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/48753991 For the CP5613, there is DP-5613. Both allows a PC to be DP Master from an ET200M Slave. Today, the most used software interface is OPC.
