PCS7 7.0 Message Class Menu - problem with expanding

MKGyver Posts: 1 Rating: (0)	Hello ! I need help with a problem in PCS7 ver. 7.0 I have made complete instalation of PCS7 7.0 ES in exactly the same way on two different computers. In one of them I have a problem with expanding Message Class Menu in blocks Alarm8P, SMC_DIR and other in CFC editor (to change alarm type e.g. Alarm - below, Alarm - above, Warning - above etc.). I don't know what can be the reason of it. I would be greatful for any suggestions how to repair it. Best regards Marcin K.

mercerky Posts: 2 Rating: (1)	Judging by the date of your original post, I am sure you no longer need the answer for this issue but considering I just spent hours banging my head on this one, I will post for the benefit of others. If I understand your problem, you are in the CFC Editor and you right click on a APL library block and select "Object Properties..." (or double click on the function block). On the General tab, you click the "Messages..." button to bring up the message configuration dialog box. When you select the "Message Class" for a specific signal (provided it isn't greyed out), a drop down menu is supposed to appear allowing you to select another class. However, for certain blocks on one machine, the drop down menu doesn't work. I am going to also assume you have a dual monitor configuration on the machine where the menu doesn't work. If the issue is similar to the one I had today, the menu doesn't work when the message configuration dialog box is displayed on monitor 2, or the non-primary display. If you move just the dialog box to the primary monitor, the drop down menu works just fine. I am running PCS 7 v7.1 SP2 with APL v7.1 SP5, so if the issue I encountered today is the same as your original problem, this bug has been around for quite some time.
