Hello Experts I have went through mentioned manuals and configuration guides for PCS 7 CAS, and it always mentioned that CAS systems is equipped with client-servers structures. my questions is : PCS7 CAS can also work with a ' Multi-single OS stations' system?? my typical cofiguration is as attached. thanks for the help! Hi, you have to use a seperate computer for a CAS. |

Hello, which PCS 7 version do you use? The CAS cannot handle Single Stations. If you use PCS 7 V8.0, then you can use the CAS replacement called Process Historian (PH). The PH supports Single Stations. Both the CAS and the PH must be installed on a separate PC. |

For a CAS you need a Server-Client architecture. In your case 1 OS server, 4 OS clients and 1 CAS. I am not sure, I think to have 4 OS clients and 1 OS serveris cheaper than 4 Single Stations. |
