PCU20 memory extension

Jakub Lanik Posts: 1 Rating: (0)	Hello We have several turning machines with SINUMERIK 810D + PCU20 and we want to extend memory to store more part programs. I have already seen these posts in this forum: /tf/WW/en/Posts/55928 /tf/WW/en/Posts/53890#top I know that I have to: buy this option6FC5253-0AE01-0AA0, buy PCMCIA flash card or CF card + PCMCIA reduction, activate this option by setting bit 0 in parameter MD 9990 to 1 But I cannot find how to map this card as a "logical drive" to store my part programs. I was searching in older DocOnCD but I couldnt find anything useful (I found only the parameter MD9990 is for activating SW_OPTIONS...) Can you please help me with this issue? I would really aprecciate something like "official how-to" from any Siemens documentation PDF (If it exists and is not confidental), I would also appreciate any of your "unofficial" tips and tricks. Luke B Posts: 3 Rating: (0)	I would reccommend using a server and connecting over ethernet and creating a logic drive. The PCMCIA card should be listed under flash card.
